Registration Help
Please read the following notes as an aid to correct and speedy registration.
You can print these instructions using the PRINT option on your browser
toolbar or menus.
The Linguist Register is our means of matching clients' requirements to your key
skills - so they get the best service and you get the work that suits you best.
Our registration form is attached to a sophisticated computer search programme
designed to achieve this, so please give your entries careful thought.
We do not require a full personal history and sending us a C.V. will not get you
onto the database!
Data needs to be entered by you to ensure 100% accuracy.
The process is a simple step by step one: before you start, it helps to
have your CV to hand with the dates for education and professional
qualifications, past employment activities, professional memberships etc.
We also suggest that you print off the first page of the registration form and
consider:
- which activity sectors you have a background knowledge of (Maximum 5 entries)
- which business categories you understand in detail (Maximum 20 entries)
Generally speaking, we will only accept your registration and offer you work for
services and in subjects for which you have qualifications or experience.
If you make a mistake, you will have plenty of opportunity to correct it:
- You can move backwards and forwards through the pages by clicking on the
buttons respectively.
- If you miss a key entry the computer will point this out to you and
- At the end, you see a summary of your entries and can then go directly to any
earlier box which you want to change.
You can get help with the individual fields on the registration form by clicking
the question mark icon displayed next to each field or section.
